GORE-TEX "Light Bone". The upper is constructed with a GORE-TEX membrane, combining a ripstop material base with waterproof nubuck leather overlays to keep feet dry. The shoe maintains the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette but incorporates functional elements like a gusseted tongue and plush lining for weather resistance. It also features reflective 3M Swooshes and GORE-TEX branding. The core GORE-TEX membrane contains billions of microscopic pores, each approximately 20,000 times smaller than a single water droplet. This prevents rain, snow, and slush from penetrating the fabric. The outer fabric is also treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, which causes water to bead up and roll off, further enhancing the shoe's performance in wet conditions.
