Overview: Up for sale is a woodblock print by acclaimed Japanese print artist, Haku Maki (1924-2000). Maki is the assumed name of Maejima Taadaki. He studied under the famous printmaker Onchi, and quickly became acclaimed for his embossed prints, dealing with a range of subjects. This print is a rare miniature print, titled "5." It is undated, but signed "H. Maki" at lower right, titled at lower center and numbered 280/365 at lower left. It is nicely matted and framed.
Condition: Print is in excellent condition. Glass has some staining and minor nicks on frame.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 2.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches high (sight). Frame measures 7.75 inches wide x 7.875 inches high.
