This is a vintage Himalayan shamanic necklace, handmade in the Nepal region and featuring a striking combination of real deer antler, hand-carved spirit face, and traditional wooden beads. Pieces like this are associated with the Tamang and Gurung shaman (Jhankri) traditions of the central and western Nepalese highlands.
• Hand-carved spirit/ancestral face in traditional Himalayan style
• Real deer antler w/natural burrs
• Wrapped hemp or animal-fiber cord (typical of older shamanic tools)
• Burn-etched wooden beads (yellow elongated beads with dot-circle patterns)
• Red lacquered beads and black wood/dyed seed beads
• Rope-style necklace cord
