Vintage carved 3D plate depicting a Japanese landscape from the Ivory Dynasty. It is made of carved resin designed to imitate the look of ivory. The image is of two figures in a boat surrounded by hills, trees and cottages. The carving is very detailed with waves in the water, detailed trees and plants, and tiny details on the buildings like the roof and fencing. Carving extends to the underside of the plates bottom edge. There are some tiny cracks on some of the tree branches, and small scuffs along the edge and bottom. Please see my close-up photos for detail. Otherwise, the plate is in excellent condition. It measures 9.5" (24cm)
