Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a deeply frustrating situation I’ve been dealing with regarding my online store on Mercari. Unfortunately, it’s been a rough few days, and I feel the need to speak up in case other small business sellers encounter similar issues.
Here’s what happened:
A customer returned a product due to shipping damage, but Mercari claimed the issue was an "unaligned product condition"—without asking for my consent or providing any photo proof of the alleged problem.
I take great care in packaging and even keep records of each item before shipping, so this claim was both unfair and unexplained.
Last week, I updated my return address as requested, but the return package (marked as "delivered") never arrived. Despite reaching out for help, Mercari has not resolved this.
I’ve even filed a report with the BBB, but so far, no positive outcome.
